Apprenticeship at the Einstein St.Gallen
Thanks to the size of the establishment and varied gastronomical events, young people can enjoy a comprehensive and varied apprenticeship. All apprenticeships start with “kick-off days” where the apprentices are introduced to the ways of the company and gain important basic knowledge.
The Einstein St.Gallen provides apprenticeships for the following career paths:
Fully qualified hotel manager (EFZ – Swiss Vocational Diploma)
Apprentices change between various departments according to the specifications of Hotelleriesuisse. Apprenticeship in the Housekeeping, Laundry, Maintenance & Technology, Service (restaurants, Congress & Einstein Bar), kitchen (breakfast, buffet and office) and Reception departments.
Fully qualified business manager (HGT – Hotel-Gastronomy-Tourism; EFZ – Swiss Vocational Diploma)
Apprenticeship on reception at the Einstein Hotel and Congress as well as introduction to the Marketing & Sales, Food & Beverage, Accounting and HR departments.
Chef (EFZ – Swiss Vocational Diploma)
Regular change between the various kitchens of the Einstein St. Gallen: get to know the kitchens of the Bistro St. Gallen and Einstein Gourmet and benefit from a varied apprenticeship.
Fully qualified restaurant manager (EFZ – Swiss Vocational Diploma)
Change between the various gastronomical facilities every six months: Bistro St.Gallen (breakfast and à-la-carte service) as well as events and banquets.
