SWING • MANOUCHE • GIPSY JAZZ | The bandleader, singer, author and actress with Swiss roots and residence in Brooklyn, plays gypsy jazz, which she derives from the Django Reinhardt tradition and enriches with folk, pop and Balkan influences. Having grown up in the jazz manouche scene, she also has a great love for music from New Orleans and the Great American Songbook, and in her songs she tells with humour and poetry of her journey from the dark alleys of the Latin Quarter to the chic society salons of New York.
