El Nene, whose real name is Pedro Lugo Martinez, shines with his immensely powerful and melancholic vocals. On stage, he looks like a younger version of the world-famous Ibrahim Ferrer (Buena Vista Social Club), whom he not only looks confusingly similar to, but has also toured worldwide.
